In 2008, our Alpha suffered a great loss from the unexpected passing of Eric Marinoff, an incredibly charasmatic, kind, and intelligent man. He contributed so much to the Fraternity and as a fitting tribute and way to honor him, the AYD Educational Foundation created a Scholarship in his name. This scholarship is for incoming freshmen who meet the following qualifications:
- They must be a Freshman male
- Must show great promise as a leader
- Embodies the Wake Forest motto, Pro Humanitate
- Contributes to the community through intellectual, moral, and social excellence
